About

Tommy is a sculptor, furniture maker, doodler, and sometimes painter. His work explores a type of structural expressionism, blending traditional woodworking technique, illustrative stylization, and playful absurdity. Through his career, Tommy has created both commercial and residential pieces including site-specific sculpture and furniture as well as custom fabrication for major retail brands. His work has been shown in museums, galleries and gardens in New York City, Long Island, and Connecticut.

Tommy graduated from Trinity College where he recreated a beach in his apartment and played for their undefeated national championship squash team. He apprenticed under a salty master welder, mostly focusing on how not to behave in a metal shop, and later attended the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship where he learned how to cut the perfect dovetail.
